Well, that is very true to average twitter marketers. They follow other users in twitter and hope and pray they follow them back, and then they send their offers. That is a very time consuming process and gives very small result - in fact it JUST DOESN'T WORK!

Twitter for me is a fun way to let my few followers to know about the randomness of my day and thoughts. I have never given much thought on actually optimizing it for internet marketing, I bet I'm missing on all the green then.
